The October Doe Hunt with muzzleloader. This might possibly be the best hunt of the year. The weather is terrific and the fall colors are spectacular. Arrive for your free scouting day on Sunday and be fresh and ready to go in a stand or blind in exactly the right place for Monday morning.

Although this hunt is for doe only  the excitement of using a smokepole coupled with the chance of taking a nice "meat deer" is more than gratifying. Although any style muzzleloader is legal we highly encourage hunters to take on the challenge of using a flintlock muzzleloader. Instruction in the use of Flintlock rifles and loaner rifles can be provided.
